Introduction Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has evolved from being a mere buzzword to a strategic imperative for businesses worldwide. In the Indian context, CSR initiatives have gained prominence as companies increasingly recognize their responsibility to contribute to social and environmental well-being. One area that has emerged as a focal point for CSR endeavors in India is Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH). As per the India CSR Outlook Report 2023, 26% of the companies have Healthcare and WASH as their first CSR priority. Followed by Environment and Sustainability with 23% and Promotion of Education with 18%.
